Our sustainability policy aims to respect the ecological system in all of our subsidiaries and affiliates in order to live in a clean world and to leave a more liveable life to future generations and to protect the natural and cultural heritage. In this context, our company deals with its sustainability activities on the basis of environment, social and corporate governance and updates its activities in this area day by day. Our Incorporation holds the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate and carries out its activities in line with the principle of respect for the environment by applying policies regarding the Environmental Management System, acting with the awareness of nature and the environment. We carry out our leather clothing and textile, food distribution and marketing, automotive and renewable energy activities in accordance with environmental legislation and international standards. We are committed to managing and reducing the environmental impacts of our business activities and continuously improving our environmental performance. In order to minimize our impacts on climate change, we aim to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, we conduct studies that reduce energy use and increase energy efficiency at every stage of our operations. We aim to reduce the use of water and natural resources in all our operations and to use them in the most efficient way possible. We conduct studies to reduce, re-evaluate and recycle the wastes generated as a result of our activities; we dispose of it as stipulated by the legislation. We consider our fair, responsible and accountable management approach, ethical principles, environmental sustainability, human and employee rights in the workplace, occupational health and safety, supplier relations and social contributions as an integral part of our business. Within the framework of our business strategy, we invest in these areas so that the electric automotive and renewable energy sectors can thrive. In this direction, our sustainability policy has been established within the framework of the following basic criteria in order to carry out our sustainability studies with a systematic approach and integrate the necessary strategies, policies, targets and action plans into our corporate structure:
